It has been a tumultuous week on Substack.
The greatest minds in the space have turned on each other. Each offers valuable insights, propositions, and plans of action. Some delve into lost and unknown secrets of health, wellness, and vitality, like experimental archaeologists uncovering rich and beautiful art and artifacts of the past. Others are incredibly romantic, many nostalgic. Some look forward, while others look back.
Some dream of future cityscapes—green-flecked ecumenopoli with self-sustaining gardens in mid-rise residential towers where residents can grow and trade their own food. Glittering futurist steel, white marble, and gold. Powered by nuclear energy and the sun. The best, brightest, strongest, smartest, marrying and having children.
Others dream of once again feeling the wind and rain on their faces as they stand in the green fields of their rural homestead. The cowbells ringing, the sound of a scared infant crying, and soon after hushed by a gentle mother as the herd moves into the barn. A beautiful dark sky of a storm so powerful it humbles and reminds us of the power of Almighty God and His force in nature. We remember to stay humble.
